The complex is beautifully laid out, with lots of green space and plenty of meandering pathways to stroll along. I enjoyed ambling around and visiting the Cactus Garden, tucked away in a quiet corner of the complex. The pool areas are very pleasant and were not too crowded when we visited (Easter 2024). The pool bar is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink or snack. The staff are great, friendly and efficient. The complex is spotlessly clean, with staff constantly tidying up. And speaking of staff, every single person we met was friendly and greeted us. They made us feel truly welcome. The accommodation (1 bed pool view apartment) was great. The apartment was what you expect from a 1 bed holiday apartment and every one of our party of 3 was comfortable for the 10 days we stayed, We were missing a toaster and reception had brand new one delivered in minutes, The location of the complex is roughly a 10 minute easy walk to the town of Playa Blanca - there is a back gate into the complex and this is the quickest way to get to town (key available for €10 deposit at reception). Playa Blanca is a nice laid back town with mostly restaurants, along the front, and shops behind. There is also a port where you can get the ferry to nearly Fuerteventura (a lovely day trip, recommended). The staff everywhere are very nice and accommodating, extending that feeling of welcome. Busses are readily available should you wish to visit other towns on the island- and an this point I'd like to give a shout out to the cafe inside the bus station who serve the best coffee (Americano) in town (and the cheapest!). I took a 1/2 day South Island bus tour to visit the Timanfaya National Park (Volcano and Camel Ride) and I'd really recommend taking a tour rather than going in your own car- the queue for private cars to get it was horrifying!! The tour busses get to skip this queue :)

The grounds are nice and spacious and well maintained. The main pool was closed for renovations, but there are many smaller pools open. The kids splash parks are great for the kids, but the water is cold. The room was nice, with separate bedroom, the beds were comfortable. There is a kitchenette with pans, plates, cutlery, toaster, microwave, fridge (no freezer compartment). There are no supplies for washing the dishes which is very inconvenient. We had breakfast included, an extensive buffet that they keep well stocked. We had dinner one evening in the buffet restaurant. It was ok. We had dinner in Playa Blanca The other nights, plenty options for nice food there. The town is less then 10 minutes by car, with free parking. The entertainment with Loan is great fun. The mini club and mini disco are fantastic and our 3 y/o loved it. Juan is great with the kids, a gem to have in the mini club. Our girl was in awe of Meske after she painted her face. We would stay again, hoping the entertainment staff will still be there because they all made our stay memorable.

The pools were great. Nice size for each section. Opening time of section pools were not strict and there was enough pool loungers for everyone who wanted one. Main pool was lovely for a change of scenery and was slightly deeper. Baby pools were well placed and well shaded. Meals were fresh and plentiful. Times for meals were also well suited to young families. Taxis were readily ordered from reception and usually at the door within 5 minutes. Dining in the town had plenty of variety. Towels changed every day. Bed sheets only changed once a week. Air-conditioning in room was good. Crepes van was a nice surprise!

The hotel grounds were really well kept - all the plants were not only gorgeous but looked after with care. The room we had was basic, but perfect for a couple days with limited cooking facilities. The 16 swimming pools were a nice surprise and always clean with plenty of chairs to pick from. Surprisingly, we were happier with a garden view over a pool view as it was substantially quieter. The staff were attentive and helped us with any requests or questions - we really appreciated their patience after all our trips to reception.

Nikki

Beautiful garden, heated swimming pool right in front of our room, excellent entertainment shows in the evening (except the show on New Year night that was not good). Tasty and not expensive cocktails (we didn’t have all inclusive, so we paid for cocktails and they were really good). Very good cleaning service and friendly cleaning ladies. Good water pressure in the shower. If you have a good price for this hotel, book it! But you should not expect anything fancy or super modern.
